This is a fantastic haunted house! All elements of a great attraction come together here flawlessly. Wonderful sets, scares and actors, this is a MUST SEE!
Great haunt all around, one of Denver’s best! Relentlessly, dedicated actors with great costumes and makeup. Crazy good sets that transport you into another world. Very thorough attention to detail, including the use of gross smells!
You’re taken through this haunt with a guide and they do a good job of controlling your pace through the haunt, which always enhances your experience. Some guides are more fun than others, but you never run into another group, which I really like!
This haunt has some new sets and surprises that are really cool, but is similar to the other 3 years I’ve seen it.
Unfailing. Definition: not failing; not giving way; not falling short of expectation; completely dependable.
If I had but one word to chose to best describe this haunt, unfailing would be that word. Looking at the definition one may think dependable is not something they want or need in a haunt.
True to the definition, this is a haunt that has consistently, year after year, brought the very best elements of a haunt together, and brought scenes to life in captivating and innovative ways. Once again, when I was sure that there was no possibility of improvement, the crew at Field of Corpses has outdone themselves again!
While the overall layout has remained the same there have been additions throughout that lend even more authenticity and scares to already fantastic sets and scenes. Attention to detail is a must and it shows here. Sets are elaborate and nothing is overlooked, not even amusing lines from the actors that tie into the scene they’re in. New scenes that cause extreme disorientation are a huge bonus and left our group struggling to get our bearings back.
Speaking of actors, I have said it before and I will say it again: When it comes to haunted house actors, no one comes close to the caliber of acting that is seen here. This is a dedicated group of mostly high school aged kids that bring energy, intensity, comic relief and in your face scares consistently time and time again. This is the group that has set the industry standard and has never failed to deliver.
Makeup and costumes are very well done and again add authenticity to an unchallenged haunt that brings the very best of acting, set design and makeup together in a bone jarring, frightening trifecta that is a must see!!!
